ABOUT "McKee's Cedar Creek Farm"
Vickie McKee's love of art impels her to design the mazes each year. McKee Maze is one of largest Cornfield mazes in North Carolina- 12 acre adventurous maze and a 2 acre interactive children's maze. The McKee's created elaborate designs in their cornfield which has become a fall tradition for many research triangle families. This year we have designed and carved a unique design into our 14 acre cornfield. Our cornfield designs have been described as aerial bio-billboards providing wonderful views for commuters flying over northern Orange County. Families have enjoyed visiting our farm in the fall season to pick out their pumpkins, have a picnic, celebrate birthdays and explore our cornfield mazes. Family Fun Tradition for all ages. Opening September 21st and running each weekend until October 31st. "McKee Maze is AMAZING", quote from numerous visitors that have visited the farm in past years. The McKee family has been stewards of the land in Orange County since the late 1700's.

Helpful Tips - Before coming to our Farm
1. Make sure you dress appropriately for the outdoors- wear comfortable shoes- for cool fall evenings a jacket maybe needed..
2. If you visit before the weather is cool - bring insect repellant.
3. Bring your stroller - little ones may get tired in the large maze.
4. Bring your flash light. In the country it gets dark when the sun goes down.
We have a picnic area under a canopy of oak trees where the tired maze traveler can rest and enjoy refreshments.
You are greeted with a smile at the Check In Station.
Maple View Ice Cream is available to cool you off, as well as water, sodas, and snacks.
- Please note that during our Haunted Maze - Regular Maze hours will vary.
Regular Maze will close at 6pm- Haunted Maze ticket sells start at 6pm.
The Haunted Trail and Corn Field Maze
will occur on October 19th, 25th, 26th, and 31st.
We will start selling tickets at 6pm. We sell our last ticket at 10pm.

From Durham: Take Guess Road approx 10 miles to Hwy 57. Turn left on Hwy 57. Go approx 2 miles. Turn left on Kiger Road. Go 1.5 miles on Kiger Road. Turn right on drive. Watch for signs.
From Burlington: Take I-40 to Hillsborough Exit 164. Turn left on Hwy 86 traveling through downtown Historic Hillsborough. Cross over Hwy 70. Go .5 miles. Turn right on Hwy 57. Travel 8 miles to Kiger Road. Turn right on Kiger Road. Go 1.5 miles on Kiger Road. Turn right on drive. Watch for signs.
